Service Agreement

Mission:  To provide optimum care to your pooch while making life for the entire family as convenient as possible.

I keep a pooch profile with all pertinent information to allow me to better serve you and your pooch.  I keep all personal information and house keys in a secured environment at all times.  I will promptly return this key once services are no longer desired.

You can be assured that no matter what service I am providing, your home and your pooch will be cared for with the utmost respect.  Upon arrival to your home, any mess created by your pooch previous to my arrival will be cleaned up.  Any outside waste created during my services is cleaned up and disposed of using biodegradable waste disposal bags.  And any mess your pooch may endure due to weather or potty accidents will be tended to with pet wipes.  Note:  I am not responsible for damages to your property caused by your pet or others who may have access to the premises.

All services provided are completed by me with a personal guarantee for satisfaction.  If you are not satisfied, please notify me of any concerns within 24 hours of any complaints.

No services can be rendered until a free initial consultation is complete with you and your pooch.  After that time you may call anytime for services.  There is no contract or obligation.  Please note frequent last minute cancellations may incur a last minute cancellation penalty fee of $10.00.  Please note there is a $15.00 fee for emergency service calls and holidays.

If anything out of the ordinary should present itself either on arrival to your home or while out on a walk, I will contact you immediately via phone to discuss the situation.  If you desire, a Veterinary Release form may be filled out so that in an emergency situation I may seek veterinary treatment for your pooch.  I will keep a signed copy in your pooch’s file at all times.  However, you may want to check with your veterinary care provider to determine their policies and procedures in such circumstances.  I am certified in Pet First Aid and CPR by American Red Cross, just in case an emergency should arise.

If at anytime I feel that my safety or the safety of others is in jeopardy due to your pooch(s) behaviors, I can decline to provide further services effective immediately upon that assessment.  I am required by law to report any bite incidents to the authorities.  I will also notify you via telephone of the incident as soon after the incident as possible.

Due to Mother Nature and the well being of your pooch(s), professional judgment will be exercised in matters of extreme temperatures and weather related emergencies.  An in-home visit will be substituted for a dog walk shall these conditions apply.  If for any reason you feel your pooch is not up to a walk and you would prefer to have a home visit in place of walking services please notify me via telephone or leave written detailed instructions and this request will be accommodated.

All fees are due on the Saturday of the week services are rendered.  Payments may be made via cash, check or money order.  Note: there is a $25.00 fee for returned checks.  An invoice/pooch report card will be left on the last day of service before payment is due.  A receipt will be given for all payments.  Note: Payments not received on time may result in suspension of services until payment arrangements are made or full payment is received.
